Mahogany Gateleg Table

Mahogany gateleg table from the mid-to-late 1800s. The top needs refinishing but it's perfect in structure

36" long, 14" wide (closed) 36" X 45" (open)

This antique mahogany table is in perfect structure but showing its 100+ years on its surface. Don%u2019t we all have a few blemishes by then? If it could talk it would tell you of many parties where it held a beautiful bouquet of flowers or elegant deserts. When too many guests show up for dinner, you'll be glad you have this versatile gem. Just flip up its sides and it's ready to go. Refinishing the top is suggested but not necessary if you plan to toss a pretty tablecloth on it.

Brass Fireplace Tools and Screen

Gently used brass fireplace screen and tools.

Both items are made of brass

The fireplace screen was purchased new at a fireplace shop in Connecticut. It doesn't fit the donor's current fireplace so it hasn't been used in 10 plus years. It is treated with a coating that prevents tarnishing so it is ready to use now.

The fireplace tools are also brass and were purchased in an antique shop. They are quite old but in excellent condition. They are not coated and therefore will tarnish. They will need a good polishing but will clean up beautifully. There is a stand and 4 tools. They look very nice together with the screen.
