LIVE AUCTION Custom Song for a Special Occasion or Special Person
A unique and memorable gift! DC singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Bill Williams will compose and record a song to commemorate a special someone or significant occasion or milestone (birthday, graduation, retirement, etc.). Working with information you provide about the celebrated person/event, Bill will craft and record a song for you to honor someone or something dear to you. The song can be completely original (both melody and lyrics), or Bill can write new lyrics to an existing melody (you can suggest a song/artist/genre or Bill can suggest something). Your song can be as simple as a folk tune with guitar and vocal (final song provided to you as either an audio- or videorecording) up to a full rock band arrangement (audio-recording only). Bill has written custom songs over the years for friends, colleagues, and church members. Not quite sure what a song like this might sound like? Check out “Henry, The Music Man,” written by Bill in honor of Cedar Lane Music Director Dr. Henry Sgrecci's retirement. Copy and paste the link into your browser: https://youtu.be/oNMhiuiPf7U Bill Williams is a founding member of The Jelly Roll Mortals, Last Train Home, and Kevin Johnson & The Linemen, and performs regularly in the DC area.
