Q.  Why was George Washington able to sail a silver dollar across the Potomac River?

A.  A dollar went further in those days.

But in 2021, not so much.

Consider having a family office that is a fee-only fiduciary.

Our office can help you --

  • Draft a thoughtful investment plan and carry it out.

  • Consolidate investment accounts, for simplicity.

  • Create and keep up a list of all your financial assets.

  • Keep track of your cash, and help move it when and where it is needed.

  • Advise on charitable giving, and Qualified Charitable Distributions from IRAs.

  • Work with your CPA to provide data for tax planning and tax return preparation.

  • Advise on Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) from retirement plans.

  • For estate planning, provide account data to your estate attorneys & help you carry out the plan, for example to draft new account applications for you to sign.

  • For Sec. 529 education accounts for children and grandchildren, draft an application for you to sign.

  • Determine if you are cutting into capital.

  • See if you are on track either to leave a legacy, or outlive your money.

  • Advise what to do after a family member dies.

And our office is also place to talk about your money questions and the latest financial bee in your bonnet.

Our people:
