Donation Instructions and Tips

To donate the same thing you offered last year, simply email your request to auction@cedarlane.org, and the team will copy last year’s item exactly as is, including photos.  If you want to make a change to the photos or text, include that information in your email.

To donate something new, use the online form, or print and fill out this form and either mail it to Cedar Lane UU Congregation, 9601 Cedar Lane, Bethesda, MD 20814, or drop it off at the auction table in the Fellowship Hall after a service.  You’ll still need to send your photos to auction@cedarlane.org.

To help a local business make a donation, print out the Business Donor Kit for them, or give them the donation page URL:  https://cedarlane.ejoinme.org/2026Donations.  This is the same page you would use; they will click the Business Donor button.

Donation Tips

A snappy description and beautiful photo help to sell your item to others.  

No matter how you submit your donation, if you are sending photos, they should be emailed separately to auction@cedarlane.org.  Each photo must be less than 1MB in size; let us know if we can help. Reference what you're donating in the email so we keep the donations and photos together.

Physical items should be in like-new/auction worthy condition and have a value of at least $50.
